Recognition

On four occasions we have been requested by the United States Senate and House of Representatives to present testimony about how to strengthen and modernize the False Claims Act. Our suggestions have led to changes in the law eventually signed by both President Ronald Reagan and President Barack Obama.

01. False Claims Law

There are government contracts which cover everything from medical services to the smallest parts on the latest weapons system. But when a government contractor does not deliver a product or service as specified in its contract with the United States, the taxpayers may have been cheated. The False Claims Act is the principal tool for recovering lost dollars due to contractor fraud. The False Claims Act is designed to allow any person to pursue contractor fraud and, if successful, to recover a reward for so doing.
